<header name="Burnie " id="1" walk="" sun="Mixed" rock="Free standing granite boulders. " acknowledgement="By Moses Bassett " intro="Inland from Burnie in the valleys of the Emu and Blythe rivers and all the way back through Upper Natone there is an incredible amount of free standing granite boulders. The scope of what might be out there is huge but how much of it will be worth climbing is yet to be determined. Some of the boulders may be too blank to have problems and fair bit of scrub bashing, clearing and cleaning will be needed, however even if only a small percent of the boulders in the area have potential it will result in a large amount of problems. Further exploration and some determination to put up new climbs by a dedicated group of boulders is needed. So far the best looking location is a section of the Blythe river off Horns road in the Upper Blythe Conservation area. " history="First discovered with James Ridgers some time around 2016/17 with sporadic exploring ever since. A track into the Blythe river area was marked in 2019 but it hasn't been used since and the first problems were put up in February 2020 with Owen Cameron. " access="Will vary depending on area. Have a look on google maps, pick the best forestry road and go exploring. The Upper Blythe Conservation area, Emu River Forrest reserve and the Upper Natone Forest reserve being the best place's to start.

Some boulders can be found right by the road in the Upper Natone area, the Emu is a bit of a steep scrub bash and the Blythe is in between.
