The lower outcrop is undercut with 2-3m roof while the top outcrop is mainly off vertical. The area is Bluff River sandstone, which tends to be friable and is easily broken when wet.
" history="" access="The most straightforward method is to drive to Buckland, about 60km NE of Hobart on the A3, then turn left on the C318 (Buckland Rd).

Follow the Buckland Rd. until about 1.5km past the Cutting Grass Rd junction. Watch for the dirt road branching off on the left just after a small rise.

Follow this road into the trees for about 1 Km, take care crossing the rock filled ditch at 800m then park off the road and admire the majesty of Wood hookers, well at least the proximity." camping="" autonumber="true"/>

Many may feel the same about the bouldering.

After an epic cleaning effort this area has produced a range of quality problems. Despite the epic clean the featured nature of the wall means that after rain sand can accumulate on some holds so bring a brush.

The obvious independent straight ups have been done with all problems having a stand start that goes at least one grade easier. There is scope for a range of linkups and variants due to the highly featured nature of the rock.

The problems are typically physical.</text>
